Professor David Denning FRCP FRCPath DCH FMedSci

Professor of Infectious Diseases in Global Health, University of Manchester

Prof Denning is one of the UK's leading authorities on global infectious disease, and an expert in medical testing. A practising physician with training in medicine, paediatrics, gastroenteroloy, haematology, infectious diseases and clinical microbiology, including a 3 year fellowship at Stanford University; David has also consulted on drug discovery with multiple pharmaceutical companies (including Merck, Pfizer, Schering Plough & Oxford Glycosciences). Since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak Prof Denning has stayed abreast of the developments in rapid test kits worldwide. His expertise allows us to confidently offer the best COVID-19 solutions to our customers.

Douglas Stidolph

Business Adviser, University College London

Since 2009, Douglas has moved between the MedTech and entrepreneurial worlds. Having spent time working in CPAP therapy and physiological monitoring before moving across to help various start-up businesses with their growth strategies, he launched his first venture in 2014, a marketplace booking platform for the UK leisure market. Since 2018 he has also been a Business Adviser in UCL's Innovation & Enterprise department, helping the business founders in the university's award-winning Hatchery incubator with growth, partnerships and early-stage funding.

Greg Stidolph

Founder, Van Loon Sport

Having previously worked on designing a better insulin test for diabetic patients, Greg is familiar with the challenges in building an optimal testing solution for general populations. Greg started his company, Van Loon Sport, in 2015, and has since spent time sourcing and producing products from all across the world, giving him invaluable expertise in delivery and logistics; particularly within tight timeframes. Combined with Silvia's expertise in the Chinese medical market, the two of them have enabled us to access products and deliver them securely with market-leading ability.

Founder, Tycho MedLink

Silvia and her team provide Hyera with a link into the heart of the Chinese medical supply network, providing us with on-the-pulse developments of new products or manufacturers, along with the latest test results from any EU-certified medical solutions for the COVID-19 pandemic. A member of the UCL Hatchery business incubator, Tycho MedLink have been a go-to for medical supplies and treatment between the UK and China since 2018.
